Art Night: Understanding Graphic Novels

From your favorite manga to graphic novels like Heartstopper, Watchmen, and Maus, graphic novels aren’t just for kids. Many tell complex stories with beautiful illustrations. At art night, learn the basics of what makes a good graphic novel and try creating your own. Not sure where to get started? We’ll have lots of examples ready to read. All supplies are provided.

Open to ages 12-25. Experience self-exploration through creativity with others in our community. Bring a friend or stop in on your own. All materials are provided and it is free to attend. Join us for an evening filled with fun and inspiring work led by local artists!
