Brought to you by the MoMA’s Creativity Lab, Art as Collective Action is an opportunity to explore the connection between art and positive change. Participants will learn about the impact of queer artists and create their own posters exploring community. Many mediums will be provided, but feel free to bring any of your own materials or collage items that are close to your heart.

Week 1 | Over the course of an hour, we’ll learn what block printing is, its history, and begin sketching our designs. The goal is to end the evening with a fun drawing or pattern that can be carved into a linoleum block next week.
Not able to attend next week? That’s okay, you’ll still have a great drawing to take home!
Open to ages 12-25. Experience self-exploration through creativity with others in our community. Bring a friend or stop in on your own. All materials are provided and it is free to attend. Join us for an evening filled with fun and inspiring work led by local artists!
