Talking It Out - Dialogue is a powerful tool. It tells the story and characterizes the individuals speaking, while at the same time providing depth and richness to a text. But it can be hard to do. Tonight we’ll write scenes entirely in dialogue (without so much as a stage direction) and discuss what makes speech in fiction work.
