Volunteer Opportunities

Do you have an hour? Day? Or more?

Volunteers are an essential factor in the success of every service offered at Encircle. We greatly appreciate the many volunteers who work behind the scenes providing their skills, time, and energy to make our services possible.

Whether you are new to Provo and looking to meet people in the city or want to give back during your free time, Encircle is the place to volunteer. Our volunteers help run our events, welcome and connect with community members, organize our lending library, and so much more. Come join us!

*ALL VOLUNTEER POSITIONS REQUIRE MANDATORY TRAINING AND A BACKGROUND CHECK BEFORE VOLUNTEERING MAY BEGIN

Open Volunteer Positions

Drop-in Team

The Drop-In team is the first point of contact for many visitors, callers, and community members. Responsibilities include welcoming/greeting visitors and callers, baking cookies and other treats, helping with homework, and providing information, resources and referrals. If you are a people-person and are able to commit to a weekly schedule, then this is the job for you!

Hosts & Co-Hosts

Volunteers are needed for our Classes, Peer-Facilitated Groups, and Tuesday Talks. Volunteers will be involved in planning, facilitating, supporting and evaluating program efforts. Ideal candidates will have prior experience working with families, youth, and the LGBTQ population, as well as leading discussions, peer-facilitated groups, and/or classes. If you have skills in activities, such as: art, music, yoga, and you would like to lead a class, then this is the volunteer position for you!

House Chores & Upkeep TeaM

In order to maintain the beautiful home that is Encircle, volunteers assist in completing house chores, grocery shopping, gardening, and/or other upkeep duties.

Administrative AssistantS

Do you love to play a support role in the office? If you like administrative work, we certainly have a place for you! Volunteers are needed to assist and support staff members in a variety of office duties such as database management, mailings, and general office support.

If you have any other suggestions on how we can utilize your unique skill set to volunteer, we would love to hear from you.
