Construction
Encircle Ogden was constructed during the Covid 19 pandemic. There were bumps in the road over the next four years as construction costs skyrocketed and labor was short.
The Larry Hall and Denise Carver Art Room
Free Art supplies are always available for guests during drop-in hours. We host Art Night weekly on Wednesdays at 7:00pm.
The Dan & Anna Neumann Music Room
Musical instruments are always available for our guests during drop-in hours. We believe in the healing power of music!
The George S. & Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation Friendship Circle Room
Friendship Circles (free peer-led support groups) are at the core of Encircle's programs. They meet weekly and are divided by age and identity.
The Jed & Heather Nilson Kitchen
Snacks and drinks are always available to guests at anytime. We host monthly Rainbow Brunches--a free community brunch--usually the first Saturday of each month.
The Roger Bess Courtyard
During the warmer months our back patio provides additional space for large gatherings like our Pride Carnival.
The Marquardt Peace and Possibility Project Therapy Room
Encircle offers therapy for LGBTQ+ individuals, families, and couples. Our goal is to build bridges of understanding and love.
The Powder Mountain Terrace
The terrace is the perfect place to come for a moment of calm and reflection, with a view of the beautiful courtyard below, and the stunning Ogden mountains above.
Encircle Ogden's Impact
In less than a year Encircle Ogden has already served almost 300 unique guests, and averages over 17 guests per day. During our first Pride month, 220 community members attended our Rainbow Brunch and Carnival. We look forward to many more years of serving the Ogden LGBTQ+ community.
