Clay is a junior attending Brigham Young University, where he uses his experience gained from the unique journey that has shaped him into who he is today. His experiences have given me a valuable perspective that can help parents and others understand the challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community. He has been involved in advocating for the rights of LGBTQ+ individuals both in his personal life and through various community organizations. His journey has not been without its challenges, and he has faced discrimination and prejudice along the way. From coming out two years ago on his church mission, Clay has come a long way and is passionate to share what experiences have helped him feel welcome and accepted on campus despite the divisiveness that continues to spread across campus.
